Building a visual world around a new product.
I developed the concept and storyboard, then handled the 3D animation, motion graphics, editing, and sound design. Because the video was designed for social media, the visual storytelling and on-screen graphics were built to communicate the product even when viewed with the sound off.
CAD to Cinema 4D. Product features to visual story. Concept to final animation.
How do you introduce a new industrial controller while making it feel as innovative as the technology inside it?
Opto 22 needed a high-impact introduction to the groov EPIC controller that could showcase its key features while emphasizing its distinctive, high-tech design. I developed a space-inspired visual concept that transformed the product launch into a short sci-fi journey.
Starting with Opto 22's existing CAD model, I translated the product into Cinema 4D and built the animation from the ground up—creating materials, textures, interface screens, environments, and the nebula-like star field used throughout the piece.
Technical product. Playful demonstration.
My solution was an automated confetti cannon.
Opto 22's Raspberry Pi I/O board gives engineers a way to prototype and troubleshoot automation ideas using the familiar Raspberry Pi platform, while adding the industrial I/O capabilities needed to handle heavier loads. The challenge was finding a demonstration that made that distinction immediately clear.
I/O for the Raspberry Pi.
How do you demonstrate industrial strength I/O in a way that engineers will understand instantly and want to watch?

End-to-end production.
I worked with an Opto 22 engineer to design and program the automation, then developed the concept and produced the video from setup through final edit. An Opto 22 employee became the on-screen performer, while I filmed and edited the production and created fast-paced motion graphics to keep the demonstration energetic and easy to follow.
Designed for social media, the video uses on-screen text and music rather than voiceover, allowing the story to work just as well with the sound off.
